Spime’s Northstar Map Viewer application allows users to discover their location, search for POIs and get map and text based routes whether the device is connected or not. Map Viewer is deeply integrated with Spime’s MapMan LBS Platform and Cloud Based Services. Users can discover, trial and purchase premium services and content when connected. Additional maps and content can be downloaded and overlaid onto the existing map data and are available to users even when not connected.


Northstar Map Viewer at a glance

•  MapMan acquires the position (GPS / Wi-fi / Cell ID).
• A user’s location is presented on the map.

Static and dynamic Points of Interest (POI) can be searched around a desired location

Text based routes are easily created and displayed in both map and text views along with voice guided route simulation

When connected, users discover, try and purchase dynamic location based services and updated content, which can be overlaid onto maps on the device

• Supported in 19 languages in 100 Countries
• Supported on Win 7 and XP, Windows Mobile 6.5, Android. Support for Windows Phone 7 will be supported in the near future
